Program Overview
- Purpose : The KSIF dispatches licensed Korean teachers to KSIs that need qualified Korean teachers to create overseas job opportunities for licensed Korean language teachers. The dispatched Korean teachers work in the local KSIs, providing the KSI curriculum.
Selection and Role of Dispatched Teachers
- Eligibility Requirements
- - A citizen of the Republic of Korea
- - Holds a Korean teaching license (Level 1-3) or scheduled to obtain one
- - Must reside in South Korea
- - Must have no issues working abroad
- - Able to be appointed alone
- - Able to work according to the Foundation’s selection process, pre-training, and dispatch schedule

- Role of Dispatched Teachers (Online and Offline)
- - Managing Korean language education and stabilizing the operation of the educational curriculum at KSI
- - Developing educational materials to enhance Korean language education at KSIs and supporting administrative tasks
- - Re-training KSI teachers within the region
Support for Dispatched Teachers
- Salary and additional allowances
- Other support: Round-trip airfare, one-time relocation expenses, enrollment in travel insurance, subscription to safety management services, domestic training, etc.
Support for Dispatched Teachers' Local Language Learning
- Purpose : To assist in the smooth local adaptation of dispatched teachers and ensure their safe stay by providing support for learning the language of the dispatch region.
- Eligible Participants : Dispatched teachers currently employed at KSIs.
- Main Content
- - Offering courses in the official or commonly used language of the dispatch region
- - Providing cross-cultural lectures to foster mutual understanding of the dispatch country
- - Consulting on course levels and other related matters
· Operational Format : Online language courses and individual 1:1 video programs through specialized foreign language teaching companies (formats may vary).
· Education Process : Application submission (identifying target language) → Confirmation of course content (level test and orientation) → Online education → 1:1 education → Completion of education (reporting of learning results and satisfaction survey)
