Now! is KSI
> Filming team attended a special lecture on Korean culture.
> Host Lee Man-ki personally introduced Ssireum, a traditional Korean wrestling, to the audience.
On March 25, KSI USA was featured on KBS1's flagship educational program, "A Walk Around the Neighborhood.” The program, produced by KBS to commemorate the 50th anniversary of public broadcasting, traveled to Los Angeles, where Koreatown is located, to explore the true meaning of community and introduce the KSI USA, which leads the local Hallyu culture.
The class featured in the broadcast was a special lecture on Korean culture, introducing major travel destinations in Korea and the culture of highway rest areas. Participants also had the chance to experience food, a special treat due to the filming team's visit.
Host Lee Man-ki toured the Korea Center, which houses the KSI USA, observed a class, and conversed with students on various topics. Notably, Lee, a former top Ssireum player, introduced Ssireum, a traditional Korean wrestling, to foreign students.
A replay of the broadcast is available on KBS1's official website, episode 213 of "A Walk Around the Neighborhood.”
