KSIF President gives special lecture for overseas Korean teachers

On July 29 and 20, KSIF President Lee Hai-young attended the “2023 Korean Traditional Culture Training for Overseas Koreans” hosted by Jeonju City and supervised by Haebom Education and Culture International Foundation, giving special lectures and encouraging Korean language instructors who teach Korean abroad, including overseas Koreans.

Following the special lecture by President Lee Hai-young on the theme of “Korean language education changing with AI, AR, and Metaverse,” explanations on the businesses of KSI and introduction and use of various online and offline educational materials were given.

In addition, President Lee Hai-young visited the Korea Traditional Culture Center, the place where the training is held, with officials from Haebom Education and Culture International Foundation, to have a discussion with Director Kim Do-yeong on development plans for operating Korean language and culture programs for foreigners using local cultural resources.
