On November 6, the Sejong Culture Academy completion ceremony was held at KSI Surabaya, Indonesia. The event was held under the theme of “Korean Culture Night,” with the participation of about 200 people, including students of Sejong Culture Academy and their families, KSI instructors, operating staff, faculty and staff of Petra Christian University, as well as citizens of Surabaya. It was a festival for everyone to celebrate the completion of the academy for students and enjoy the time together.
The Sejong Culture Academy in Surabaya, which opened on October 21 and operated for two weeks, received a great response from students with a variety of Korean cultural experiences such as Hangeul, Hanbok, Korean food, K-pop dance, Korean fan dance, and Taekwondo. Prior to the event, participants were given an opportunity to enjoy delicious Korean food, such as gimbap, tteokbokki, and bulgogi. Additionally, event participants had the opportunity to experience Samulnori at the Samulnori experience booth.
