Visit and Meeting with the Mayor of Rijeka, CroatiaOn April 4, Marko Filipović, the Mayor of Rijeka, visited the
KSIF. During his meeting with President Lee Hai-young, discussions were held about the expansion of
international exchanges with Croatia and the operation of KSI Rijeka.

Visit and Meeting with the President and Vice President of the University of Waterloo, Canada
On April 8, Wendy Fletcher, President, and Tanya Missere-Mihas, Vice President of Renison University College at
the University of Waterloo, which operates KSI Waterloo Canada, visited the KSIF. During their meeting with
President Lee Hai-young, they shared the current status of the KSI Waterloo’s operations and discussed
strategies for invigorating its management, including training local Korean language instructors and expanding
participation in Korean cultural programs.

Visit and Meeting with Professor Cho Ji-Eun of the University of Oxford, UK
On April 17, Professor Cho Ji-Eun from the University of Oxford visited the KSIF.
During his meeting with President Lee Hai-young, they shared information about the ‘Sejong Korean Language
Assessment Multi-Stage Adaptive test(iSKA)’ and continued discussions on the implementation of iSKA at the
University of Oxford and the potential designation of a new King Sejong Institute.
