I KSIF Collaborates with The Korea Times
On July 16, the King Sejong Institute Foundation (President Lee Hai-young, hereafter referred to as the KSIF)
signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with The Korea Times (CEO Oh Young-jin) aimed at promoting Korean
language and culture. The signing took place in the conference room of The Korea Times.
Since 2012, KSIF has been promoting Korean language and culture through 256 KSIs operating in 88 countries
worldwide. The Korea Times, founded in 1950, is the oldest English-language newspaper in Korea and has been at
the forefront of promoting the Korean language abroad, annually hosting a Korean language speech contest for
foreigners.
With this agreement, KSIF will be able to provide information about its major projects in an accessible way to
foreigners through the English news service of The Korea Times. Additionally, KSIF plans to make its developed
Korean language and cultural education content conveniently accessible through the platform of The Korea Times.
