KSIF began developing prototypes for workbooks of KSI’s Standard Textbook Sejong Korean Vol. 1 to 4.
The foundation has placed the core contents of the Standard Textbook Sejong Korean in the workbook prototype and will create guidance books for teachers in various languages. In particular, the prototype of the workbook will be developed with in-depth explanations about vocabulary and grammar as well as practice questionnaires where learners can check their achievement progress for every unit of Sejong Korean.
The prototypes, whose development is to be completed by November, will be unveiled at Nuri-Sejong Hakdang (www.sejonghakdang.org), an online website where visitors can learn Korean language and culture. The standardized workbook in various languages is expected to meet the growing demands of teachers and learners from around the world.
KSIF has been developing workbooks in various languages since 2013, releasing 5 types (English, Spanish, Mongolian, Vietnamese, and Chinese). With the development of the prototype this time, the foundation will expand the selection in more languages.
The workbooks were developed until last year by the foundation in five different languages. You can download them at Nuri-Sejong Hakdang. (Photo: From the left, clockwise – Chinese, English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Mongolian).
KSI teachers are reading displayed workbooks at ‘The 8th World Korean Educators Conference’ last month.
