“I am a Hallyu Star Who Loves Korean Culture!”

 

Four winners to appear on Korean cultural experience video

 

 

On July 23rd, KSIF announced four winners of UCC Contest: “I am a Hallyu star who loves Korean culture!”

 

The competition was held from May 29th to June 27th where participants were to pick a topic out of Korean food, K-pop, Hanok, and Taekwondo, and create a video. A total of 25 KSI students participated in the competition. After a strict evaluation by outside experts, two winners have been selected from each category of K-pop and Korean food.

 

For Korean food category, Alymbekova Aktilek, from Bishkek KSI, Kyrgyzstan, and Katthaleeya Satha from Chiang Mai KSI, Thailand have been selected. For K-pop category, Max Brinkhus Fritsch from São Leopoldo KSI, Brazil and Tolepova Tumaris from Tashkent KSI, Uzbekistan have been selected.

 

Four winners will be given an opportunity to participate in ‘Study-Tour Award Program for Outstanding KSI Students’ in early October. They will appear as the main characters of ‘Korean Cultural Experience Video’ produced by KSIF and will gain hands-on experience on Korean culture by experts. This video will not be only aired at Nuri-Sejong Hakdang but also on Arirang TV globally.
