Signing of MoU between KSIF and KBS

King Sejong Institute Foundation and KBS have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration to promote Korean language and culture.

KBS has agreed to provide 「KBS World」 and 「KBS World 24」 channel for free to KSIs around the world to be utilized for Korean education.

As a result, students from 172 KSIs in 56 countries around the world can easily enjoy the latest Korean culture and learn Korean language with the contents of KBS channels abroad. At the same time, the foundation plans to broadcast the contents from its Korean language and cultural information hub site, ‘Nuri-Sejong Hakdang,’ on KBS World and World 24 channel.

“With the MoU, we can utilize high-quality cultural contents of KBS for Korean language education,” said Hyun-hwa Kang, director of KSIF and added, “We will continue to expand collaborative projects so international students can learn Korean language and culture in a more convenient and diverse way.”
