King Sejong Institute Foundation has released new textbooks for Korean language learners with various purposes such as marriage immigration and employment at Korean companies. The special-purpose Korean textbooks that the foundation newly released are two types of ‘Sejonghakdang Koreans for Marriage Immigrants 1~2’ and ‘Business Korean Language 1~2’.
The ‘Sejonghakdang Koreans for Marriage Immigrants’ is a textbook for learners, who preparing marriage immigration, to learn Korean at a beginning level before entering Korea. By reflecting learners’ situation, the books were consisted of conversations before entering Korea in the first volume and of marriage life after entering Korea in the second, and it was organized to learn in connected with social integration program after entering the country.
The foundation will release free e-books through Nuri-Sejonghakdang for more marriage immigrants to use from the week of January 5, 2020, and it will distribute free textbooks to KSIs, which operate curriculum for marriage immigrants from the first half of 2020.
‘Business Korean Language’ is a textbook for Korean language learners with employment purpose.
Business Korean Language 1 is the level of Sejong 3 and it can be used for learners who finished Elementary level 1A at KSI.
It is expected to be useful for learners with employment purposes as well as for lectures at companies, as composed of the terms and conversations that need in office life.
In addition, the foundation will newly publish "Sejong Korean Conversation 3-4" and “Sejong Korean Culture 2.” ‘Sejong Korean Conversation 3-4’ and ‘Business Korean 1~2’ started selling in December, 2019 and ‘Sejong Korean Culture 2’ will be on sale from February 2020. The textbooks can be purchased at online and offline bookstores or through each publisher.
